Grace N. Williams, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Sept. 2, 1907, in St. Louis, daughter of Henry Odus and Mattie Willer Williams.
Miss Williams received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin.
She taught a year at Marquand, Mo., a year in England as an exchange teacher, and 49 years in the math department at Central High School.
Miss Williams was a member of First Baptist Church, State and National Education Associations, Pi Lambda Theta, Delta Kappa Gamma, and Fulbright Association.
Survivors include a sister, Patricia McDonald of Albuquerque, N.M.; 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 1 to 1:45 p.m. today.
A graveside service will be held at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum. Dr. Derek Staples will officiate.
