GRACE RIEHN

MILLERSVILLE -- Grace Riehn, 81, Millersville Route 1, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 10, 1910, near Delta, daughter of Stanton and Eula Walker Surface. She married Walter E. Riehn Dec. 22, 1928. He died March 4, 1980.

Survivors include a son, Don Riehn of Millersville; a daughter, Doris Sitton of Gilbertsville, Ky.; a brother, Walter Surface of Grassy; a sister, Mildred Sievers of Jackson, and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Riehn moved to Millersville in 1959 from Cape Girardeau. She was a telephone operator at the former Oak Ridge Telephone System, and had worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson.

She was a member of Old Salem Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Michael W. Woods will officiate. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
