ARBOR -- Grace Lee James, 89, died Tuesday, June 20, 1995, at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 4, 1906, in Bollinger County, daughter of Francis and Louella Lincoln Stevens. She married Harl James on March 31, 1929, at Hurricane. He preceded her in death.
James was a homemaker and was a member of Arbor General Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors are two daughters, Rosemary Brown of Cape Girardeau and Wanda Lee Palmer of Gainesville, Texas; a brother, Ted Stevens of Kinder; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral is today at 10:30 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with the Rev. Bob Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork.
