Funeral for Grace E. LaLumandier of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Dr. Clayton Smith and the Rev. James Sanderson will officiate. Entombment will be in the family mausoleum at Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel from 11 a.m. until service time.

LaLumandier, 89, died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 13, 1910, at Friedheim, daughter of Dr. Alexander and Julia Klauss Dalton. She married Lloyd LaLumandier, who died Dec. 17, 1982.

LaLumandier was a graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University.

She was a teacher at Pattonville High School many years. She lived in St. Louis and Sikeston, moving back to Cape Girardeau in 1986. LaLumandier was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Jessie Dalton of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.
