BELL CITY, Mo. -- Grace A. Gilliland, 85, of Town and Country, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis. She was born April 17, 1918, in Norfork, Ark., daughter of James William and Martha Jane Simpson Kincaid. She and Quincy Gilliland were married May 11, 1935, at Benton, Mo. He died Feb. 9, 1993...

BELL CITY, Mo. -- Grace A. Gilliland, 85, of Town and Country, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born April 17, 1918, in Norfork, Ark., daughter of James William and Martha Jane Simpson Kincaid. She and Quincy Gilliland were married May 11, 1935, at Benton, Mo. He died Feb. 9, 1993.

Gilliland was formerly of Bell City, and a former member of Morehouse Church of Christ and Crowder Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Gilliland of Lynwood, Ill., Doyle Gilliland of Holiday, Fla.; two daughters, Sharon Coon of St. John's, Mo., Donna Garrett of St. Peters, Mo.; two brothers, Floyd Kincaid of O'Fallon, Mo., Bill Kincaid of Manchester, Mo.; two sisters, Julie Koenig of Town and Country, Rose Meyer of Sappington, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., with Woodrow Phillips and Cletus Lemmons officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
