MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Grace Francis Garland, age 88, of Marble Hill passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home.
She was born March 22, 1925, in Marble Hill, daughter of Willis Fountain and Annie Mae Bollinger Fulbright. She and Woodrow Garland were united in marriage Jan. 10, 1946, and he passed away Dec. 11, 1978.
Grace was a member of the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher, on the Cemetery Board and was the church clerk and secretary for many years. She also served on the board for Bess Cemetery.
Survivors include brothers Leo Fulbright of Highland, Ill., Cecil Fulbright of Florissant, Mo., and Lloyd Seabaugh of Hazelwood, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lewis Seabaugh, sister Opal Knoennig and two infant sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Steven Sander and Rev. Jimmy Fulbright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
