SIKESTON -- Grace Geneva Stephens, 76, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born April 3, 1917, at Blodgett, Mo., daughter of Robert Raymond and Mary Elizabeth Burns Hampton.
She Harvey Louis Stephens, Dec. 5, 1936, at Benton. He died Jan. 7, 1984.
Stephens was a housewife and a homemaker after she retired from the International Shoe Factory in Sikeston where she worked for 20 years. She also was formerly employed by the Sikeston Dry Cleaners and Laundry.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include a son, Donald Louis Stephens of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Sondra Kay Arms of Phoenix, Ariz., Karen Sue Houchin of Sikeston; a brother, Robert Hampton of Sikeston; three sisters, Nola Mae Hays of Sikeston, Naomi Hampton and Euna Adams, both of Jeffersonville, Ind.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and four sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Rev. Robert Alarcon officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
