GRAY RIDGE, Mo. -- Goldie B. Moore, 83, of Gray Ridge died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at her home. She was born April 6, 1918, near Essex, Mo., daughter of Jesse and Josie Davis Lowery. She and Ora Lee Moore were married Sept. 26, 1942. He died July 28, 1999...

GRAY RIDGE, Mo. -- Goldie B. Moore, 83, of Gray Ridge died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at her home.

She was born April 6, 1918, near Essex, Mo., daughter of Jesse and Josie Davis Lowery. She and Ora Lee Moore were married Sept. 26, 1942. He died July 28, 1999.

Moore had lived at Gray Ridge since 1925. She was a member of First Oneness United Pentecostal Church at Morehouse, Mo.

Survivors include three sons, Eldon Moore of Benton, Ark., Jimmie Moore of Gray Ridge, Carroll Moore of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; seven grandsons; and two great-grandsons.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Jimmy Vent and Jay Emerson will officiate. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
