PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Goldie V. Mangels, 78, of Perryville died Monday, July 30, 2001, at St. John's Hospital in Washington, Mo.
She was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of John and Ena Sarah Sanford Reiss. She and Melvin Mangels were married April 22, 1941. He died March 15, 1999.
Mangels was a retired cashier. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Mangels of Washington; a daughter, Charlotte Satter of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Elsie Valleroy of Perryville; a brother, William "Roy" Reiss of St. Louis; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-8 p.m. today, and after 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
