Mary Goldie Armbruster, 90, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at her home.
She was born Nov. 25, 1915, at Brewer, Mo., daughter of Thomas Valerian and Martha Lena Brown Parres. She and Joseph W. Armbruster were married June 1, 1940, at Brewer.
Mrs. Armbruster was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its Daughters of Isabella, and a member of Rodney Vista Homemakers Club.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Thomas Armbruster of Cape Girardeau, Wayne Armbruster of Paducah, Ky.; two daughters, Jerilyn Armbruster of Memphis, Tenn., Juan Crites of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, Amy Schroeder of Eureka, Mo., Mark Armbruster of Cape Girardeau, Ashley and Justin Armbruster of Paducah, Ky., Abby and Luke Crites of Cape Girardeau; and two great-grandchildren, Ben and Libby Schroeder of Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Dave Hulshof officiating. Private burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Morgan Funeral Home of Advance, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
