Golden Patton

Golden W. Patton, 76, of Marble Hill, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 24, 1928 at Lutesville, Mo., son of Earnest W.C. and Dora Mae Pulliam Patton. He and Mable L. Mayfield were married April 16, 1960, near Lutesville.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald Patton of Louisiana; a brother, Jackie Patton of Perryville, Mo.; a sister, Virginia A. Sitzes of Marble Hill; two grandsons; and a great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a grandson.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill with the Rev. Clifton Trentham officiating.
