PERRYVILLE -- Golden Joseph Brown, 82, of Perryville, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1993, at Perry County Hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1910, at Perryville, son of Theodore and Victoria DeBois Brown. He and Estelle Shelby were married in May 1931. She died Jan. 23, 1963...

PERRYVILLE -- Golden Joseph Brown, 82, of Perryville, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1993, at Perry County Hospital.

He was born Aug. 19, 1910, at Perryville, son of Theodore and Victoria DeBois Brown. He and Estelle Shelby were married in May 1931. She died Jan. 23, 1963.

Brown was a retired distributor for the Southeast Missourian and St. Louis Post Dispatch Newspapers. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a brother, Hilman Brown of Ste. Genevieve.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, son and sister.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today. The wake service is at 7.
