Gloria Pratcher

LILBOURN, Mo. -- Gloria Dean Tillman Pratcher, 52, of Lilbourn died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

She was born June 6, 1952, in Jaywye, Mo., daughter of Tom and Mattie Johnson. She and Hubert Pratcher were married June 8, 2003.

Pratcher attended Howardville High School. She had worked at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo., more than 23 years, and was currently a surgical technician. She was a member of New Jerusalem Ministries at Parma, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Shelia Johnson and Sharay Thomas of Cordova, Tenn.; five brothers, Johnny, Mathis and Michael Johnson of Lilbourn, Terry Johnson of Jackson, Tenn., and Victor Johnson of Sikeston; four sisters, Margaret Marsh, Minerva Grissom and Janet Johnson of Lilbourn, Joyce Robinson of Malden, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at First Baptist Church in Portageville, Mo., from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the church, with Floyd Wade officiating. Burial will be in Simmons Cemetery at Catron, Mo.

Williams Funeral Home in Howardville, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
