Glenneth Robison

Glenneth Jewell Goff Robison, 91, of Jackson departed this life Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Jackson Manor.

She was born July 16, 1920, in Stoddard County, Mo., daughter of Herbert Franklin and Pearl Marie Kinder Goff. She and Argul Robison were married April 8, 1940, in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death.

Ms. Robison was a former seamstress at Elder Manufacturing in Bloomfield, Mo., and a former resident of Bloomfield.

She is survived by a son, Michael I. Hobbs and wife Patty of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Rose Marie Kinder-Brock and husband Baird of Warrensburg, Mo., and Wilma Lee Kincy and husband David of Jackson; two brothers, Allen Goff of Stuarts Draft, Va., and Jimmy Goff of Lakeland, Fla.; three sisters, Virginia Hopkins of Bloomfield, Dorothy Kight of Kirkwood, Mo., and Betty Gregory of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Interment will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
