MORLEY, Mo. -- Glenna Dene May, 76, of Morley departed this earth Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 17, 1935, in Corning, Ark., daughter of Chester and Pearl Wampler Hudson. She and Ron Pulliam were married July 17, 1954, in Ann Arbor, Mich. He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1974. She and her high school sweetheart, Jerry May, were married Jan. 6, 1996, and spent 16 wonderful years together...

MORLEY, Mo. -- Glenna Dene May, 76, of Morley departed this earth Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 17, 1935, in Corning, Ark., daughter of Chester and Pearl Wampler Hudson. She and Ron Pulliam were married July 17, 1954, in Ann Arbor, Mich. He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1974. She and her high school sweetheart, Jerry May, were married Jan. 6, 1996, and spent 16 wonderful years together.

Glenna was a member of Morley Baptist Church and the Kingshighway Chapter of National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Sikeston, Mo.

In addition to her husband, loving survivors include a daughter, Dana Pulliam of Tucker, Ga.; a sister, Reva Byrd of Sikeston; two brothers, Conrad Hudson of St. Louis, Dr. Charles Hudson of Arnold, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Vera Pobst and Jerra Hutson; two stepsons, Keith May and Jay May. She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Steve Pulliam.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Morley Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating.
