Glenn W. Woeltje, 76, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, April 14, 1995, at Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born April 14, 1919, in Oak Ridge, son of Oscar G. and Dollie Louise Hamilton Woeltje.
He married Rosanna C. Fallert Sept. 28, 1941, in Cape Girardeau. She survives.
Woeltje served in the army during World War II. He was a body-fender man for Harris Truck and Trailer for 27 years. He bred, raised and trained beagles for 30 years.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson and a member of the DAV.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis Woeltje and David Woeltje, both of Cape Girardeau, and Glenn Fleek of St. Peters; a daughter, Deanna Long of Jackson; two brothers, Dale Woeltje of Jackson and Walter Woeltje of Nacogdoches, Texas; a sister, Edith Ristig of Jackson; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and two brothers.
Friends may call at the Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau today after 5 p.m. Parish prayers will be conducted at 7.
Service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson, with the Rev. J. Friedel officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
