Funeral for Glenn Edward King of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. The Revs. Jimmy Merity, Howard McGee and Jimmy Winfrey will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from noon to service time.

King, 66, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998, at his home.

He was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Jackson, son of Robert R. and Louise Carrie Lacey King. He and Vera King were married in 1976.

King worked 15 years at Pillsbury in St. Louis, and then was a caretaker 17 years for Mary Harrison of Cape Girardeau. He was a life member of St. John's AME Church.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-61.

Survivors include his wife of St. Louis; a brother, Nelson King of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Dorothy Pettit of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
