GLENN KESLER

ULLIN, Ill. -- Glenn "Bull" Kesler, 76, of Ullin died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born Nov. 21, 1924, in Wetaug, Ill., son of Lionel "Doc" and Elsie Sheffer Kesler. He and Verna Lee Crippen were married Dec. 23, 1961.

Kesler had been a mechanic at Columbia Quarry and Ullin Auto Body. He also served on the Ullin Village Board and fire department. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Glenda Franco of Ullin, Mary Gream of Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Mike DeWitt of Ullin; a brother, Kenny Kesler of Ullin; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Richard Martin officiating. Burial will be in Ullin Cemetery.
