Glendola Shell, 92, of Scott City died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City, Missouri.

She was born April 4, 1925, in Qulin, Missouri, to Luther and Anna Johnson Arnold.

She worked at Florsheim Shoe and the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a longtime volunteer at the Nutrition Center in Scott City.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Bill) Smith and Bonnie (Gilbert) Schaefer; a sister, Bernadean Kerley; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenny Enderle; two brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel with the Rev. Joe Weidenbenner officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Scott City.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
