Glenda Fay Seagraves, 61, of Rector, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at her home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1948, in Arcola, Mo., daughter of the late Roswell and Mona Mae (Sitz) Bess.
She was married to Jack Dean Seagraves in 1976. He preceded her in death Dec. 9, 2007.
Seagraves was of the Baptist faith. She was a caregiver and graduated from Bell City High School in Missouri.
Survivors include one brother, Earl Bess of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Vera Mae Mason of Sikeston, Mo., Wanda Rayles of Kokomo, Ind., and Coleene McCormick of Zenia, Ill.; a special neighbor and friends J.T. and and Evalean Cobb; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and E.G. Bess; 5 sisters, Virginia Allen, Lula Belle Bess, Remona Sue Bess, Dorothy Phegley and Barbara Gail Bess.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery.
