Glenda Davis Schott, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at the Lutheran Home. She was born March 18, 1922, at Morley, Mo., daughter of Walker and Bertie Graves May. She first married Bob Davis May 25, 1942. He died April 5, 1973. She later married Edgar Schott Nov. 4, 1978. He died Aug. 27, 2000...

Glenda Davis Schott, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born March 18, 1922, at Morley, Mo., daughter of Walker and Bertie Graves May. She first married Bob Davis May 25, 1942. He died April 5, 1973. She later married Edgar Schott Nov. 4, 1978. He died Aug. 27, 2000.

Schott lived in the Benton, Mo., area most of her life. She worked at Missouri Division of Family Services in Scott County many years, retiring in 1980. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1996. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Benton.

Survivors include a son, Joe Bill Davis of Benton; a stepson, Jan Schott of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Lois Frazier of New Orleans, La.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and two brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Chapel in Benton from 1-3 p.m. Saturday.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley. The Rev. Karen Taylor will officiate.
