FREDERICKTOWN -- Glenda E. Sanders, 85, of Fredericktown died Sunday, Dec. 7, 1997, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born June 2, 1912, in Madison County, daughter of Samuel and Missouri Wilson. She and Elbert Sanders were married Feb. 17, 1934, at Zion.
Sanders was a member of First Baptist Church, its Mary Martha Class and Women's Missionary Union.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Green of Millersville; two brothers, Francis Fields Jr. of Cypress, Calif., Martin Fields of Fredericktown; two sisters, Nova Daggett of Hendersonville, Tenn., Bertha Mitchell of Ironton; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, a sister, and a brother.
Friends may call at Follis-Sonderman Funeral Home in Fredericktown after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Wayne Maness and Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery at Fredericktown.
