ANNA, Ill. -- Glenda L. Adams, 48, of Anna died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1996, at Union County Hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1948, in Anna, the daughter of Dorris and Imogene Sitter Adams. ANNA, Ill. -- Glenda L. Adams, 48, of Anna died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1996, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Nov. 18, 1948, in Anna, the daughter of Dorris and Imogene Sitter Adams.

She graduated from Anna-Jonesboro High School in 1966 and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Survivors include her parents; four sisters, Cheryl Adams of Brooklyn, N.Y., Karen Skoffic of Carbondale, Debra Schroeder of St. Louis and Lisa Hines of LaCrosse, Wis.; and two brothers, Larry Adams and Robert Adams, both of Anna.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Garnett J. Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Alto Pass Cemetery.
