SIKESTON, Mo. -- Glenda F. Crosno, 87 of Sikeston, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at The Arbors at WestRidge Place in Sikeston.
She was born Sept. 23, 1931, in Lilbourn, Missouri, to Joe and Emma Schaffer. Glenda and Harold "Wink" Crosno were united in marriage March 25, 1955. He preceded her in death May 6, 2010.
She is survived by a son, Tim Crosno (Brandi Holder), and his daughter, Amanda (Ben) Hardin, and their children, Camryn and Ryleigh Hardin; daughter, Julie (the Rev. David) Stanfield, and her children, Noah and Camille Stone; brother, D.R. "Frog" Schaffer; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Coretta Green; and three brothers, R.B., J.C. and B.J. Schaffer.
The family will host a memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Lilbourn. Inurnment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield and will be accepted at the funeral home or church.
