MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Glen Woodfin of Marble Hill will be held at 2 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Sander will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery.
Woodfin, 63, died Thursday, June 8, 1995, at his home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1931, at Sank, son of James Henry and Nora Ann Baker Woodfin. He and Carolyn Huffman were married June 17, 1966.
Woodfin was a retired teamster. He also had worked for Baker Funeral Home, Monument Co. and Cemetery until retiring because of ill health.
He was a member of Haynes Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, Scopus Volunteer Fire Department, and was a volunteer with Bollinger County Sheriff's Department Reserve. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three brothers, Louis Woodfin of Warsaw, James Woodfin of Farmington, Floyd Woodfin of Roxana, Ill., and a sister, Mildred Chaney of Marble Hill.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
