PAINTON -- Memorial service for Glen F. Moore of Clovis, N.M., was held Oct. 17, 1999. The Rev. John Rollinson officiated. Military rites were conducted by the Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard of Clovis.
Steed-Todd Chapel of Clovis was in charge of arrangements.
Moore, 68, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
He was born Dec. 4, 1930, at Painton, son of Edgar and Minnie Yount Moore. He and Willie Mae Jouett were married Dec. 31, 1955, in Clovis. She died Dec. 26, 1989.
Moore served 22 1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a technical sergeant in 1974.
He had lived in Clovis since 1974. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Survivors include a son, Carl Moore of Clovis; three daughters, Blenda Simonton of Clovis, Annette Kreider and Glynda Dull of Lancaster, Pa.; two brothers, Loyd Moore of Cape Girardeau, Floyd Moore of St. Charles; two sisters, Luella Schrader of Oran, Louise Jackson of Gipsy; and five grandchildren.
