SCOTT CITY -- Glen J. Leiner, 75, formerly of Scott City, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 1994, at his home in Clearwater, Fla.
He was born Jan. 23, 1919, in Fornfelt, the son of Henry C. and Millie Myrtle Johnson Leiner.
He was a former Scott City mayor and council member.
He was an engineer for the Cotton Belt Railroad and a member of the Baptist faith.
He moved to Florida in 1991.
His widow, Alverta E. Leiner, survives. They were married 53 years.
Other survivors are a son, Randy Leiner, Imperial; two daughters, Janice Calhoun of Clearwater, Fla., and Glenda O'Loughlin of Larga, Fla.; two brothers, H.C. Leiner Jr. of Scott City and Carl Leiner of Caseyville, Ill.; six grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday at 6 p.m. at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home on Belcher Road in Clearwater, Fla.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
Burial will be in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Fla.
