JACKSON -- Glen W. Cotner, 81, of Jackson died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 2, 1917 near the Leemon community, son of Arthur and Daisy King Cotner. He and Rose Mary Biri were married June 4, 1938. She died Nov. 22, 1993.
Cotner was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. He worked at Lenco Inc. in Jackson for 29 years before retiring in 1982.
Survivors include a son, Robert Lee Cotner of Jackson; two daughters, Edna Mae Kluesner of New Hamburg and Cathy Hartle of Millersville; a brother, Linus Cotner of St. Charles; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, a grandson and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, parish prayers said at 7.
A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery.
