Glema Myrl Milligan, 97, of Scott City died Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Fornfelt to Lester Henry and Ollie Myrtle Pinkston Wills. She married Lee Otis Milligan on Nov. 26, 1936, in Fornfelt. He preceded her in death June 17, 1988...

Glema Myrl Milligan, 97, of Scott City died Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Fornfelt to Lester Henry and Ollie Myrtle Pinkston Wills. She married Lee Otis Milligan on Nov. 26, 1936, in Fornfelt. He preceded her in death June 17, 1988.

She was a cook for Scott City Schools, and she was a member of Illmo United Methodist Church in Scott City.

She is survived by a son; a daughter; a sister, Carma (Albert) Heuring of Scott City; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Lynn Milligan; a brother, J.C. Wills; and a granddaughter, Lynnette Matlock.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dean Heuring officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
