GLADYS MEYER

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral Mass for Gladys E. Meyer of Perryville will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. The Rev. Mark Bozada will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. today.

Meyer, 60, died Sunday, March 14, 1999, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born May 12, 1938, at Biehle, daughter of Steven and Theresa Lee Laurentius. She and James Roger Meyer were married Oct. 3, 1959.

Meyer worked 33 years at a shoe factory and 10 years at Gilster-Mary Lee. She was a member of St. Maurus Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Randy Meyer of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Connie Vernon of Shakertown; three brothers, James Laurentius of Perryville, LeRoy and Elmer Laurentius, both of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Leona Propst of Bridgeton, Betty Jones of Jackson; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
