KARNAK, Ill. -- Gladys E. Martin, 97, of Mounds, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at Rehab Center in Murphysboro, Ill. She was born Nov. 1, 1902, in Northup, Ohio, daughter of Leslie and Bertha Houck White. She and Gallie Martin were married. KARNAK, Ill. -- Gladys E. Martin, 97, of Mounds, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at Rehab Center in Murphysboro, Ill.
She was born Nov. 1, 1902, in Northup, Ohio, daughter of Leslie and Bertha Houck White. She and Gallie Martin were married.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Martin of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister and a brother.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Cemetery in Belknap, Ill. The Rev. Joey Dunning will officiate.
