PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Gladys L. Runyon of Perryville was held Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery.
Runyon died Thursday, Dec. 27, 1990, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 15, 1922, daughter of the late Rudolph T. Meister and Ida Weseloh Meister, who survives.
Runyon was a machinist. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Perryville and the VFW.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Sandra Cross of Morton, Ill.; a son, John Kertoy of St. Louis; two sisters, Lenore Hacker of Paris, Tenn. and Verna Hoehn of Perryville; two brothers, Fremond Meister of Speedway, Ind. and Milbert Meister of Altenburg; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and one sister.
