WYATT -- Gladys R. Johnson, 81, of Wyatt died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at Charleston Manor. She was born Dec. 10, 1917, in Mississippi County, daughter of Glennie and Ethel McMillen Hodges. She and Albert "Jack" Johnson were married Sept. 22, 1934. He died July 9, 1978...

WYATT -- Gladys R. Johnson, 81, of Wyatt died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at Charleston Manor.

She was born Dec. 10, 1917, in Mississippi County, daughter of Glennie and Ethel McMillen Hodges. She and Albert "Jack" Johnson were married Sept. 22, 1934. He died July 9, 1978.

Johnson lived in Mississippi all her life. She was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge of Charleston.

Survivors include two sons, Glennon Johnson of Charleston, Lindell Johnson of Wickliffe, Ky.; two daughters, Marilyn Nally of Charleston, Charlotte Duncan of Wyatt; two sisters, Imogene Morris and Addie Murphy of Charleston; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 4:30-8 p.m.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Wallace officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
