Gladys Irene Hagen of 2800 Pioneer died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1992 at her home. She was 79.
Hagen was born Oct. 19, 1912 in Leslie to Isiah and Mollie Richardson Owens. She married Carl Hagen June 22, 1935, in St. Louis. He survives.
She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in St. Louis, where she lived most of her life and worked for Famous Barr as a stockroom ticket maker. Hagen moved to Cape Girardeau in July 1990.
Survivors include, in addition to her husband, daughters Mary Sheehan of Cape Girardeau and Judy Powell of Jefferson City, and six grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, two brothers, two half-brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn chapel. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel.
