MARBLE HILL, Mo. --Gladys Evelyn Elledge, 82, of Marble Hill died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.

She was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Lutesville, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Willie Francis Shell. She and Orville Junior Elledge were married Dec. 25, 1946, in Lutesville.

She retired from Marble Hill Hat Factory. She was a member of New Sylvan Church.

Elledge is survived by a brother, Alva Shell of Doniphan, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Hutchings Funeral Chapel.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Revs. David Jordan and Sheldon Owens officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
