PATTON -- G.F. Edward Ramey, 78, of Patton died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Claru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown.
He was born Jan. 11, 1921, in Dyersburg, Tenn., son of John W. and Lillie May Berryman Ramey. He and Norma Glyn Hall were married April 16, 1948.
Ramey retired as a foundryman with Tower Grove Foundry in St. Louis.
Survivors include four sons, John Ramey of Festus, Tom and William Ramey of Patton; a daughter, Rebecca Rodgers of Fenton; two sisters, Virginia Smith and Evelyn Owsley of Dyersburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton after 4 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewel Smith officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.
