GERTRUDE VINER

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Funeral service for Gertrude A. "Gertie" Viner of Olive Branch will be held at 8 p.m. tonight at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. The Rev. Billy Don Heady will officiate. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, Mo.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to service time.

Viner, 94, died Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, in Tamms.

She was born March 20, 1901, in St. Francois County, daughter of Jess and Emma Burch Hughes. She married Andrew Viner, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a half brother, Fred Hughes of Tampa, Fla.
