PERRYVILLE -- Gertrude M. Ramsey, 86, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1992, at the American Care Center in Perryville. She was born Dec. 1, 1905, at Longtown, the daughter of Joseph Franklin and Hattie P. Hoffman Clifton. On Feb. 14, 1937, she married Earl W. Ramsey, who survives of the home...

PERRYVILLE -- Gertrude M. Ramsey, 86, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1992, at the American Care Center in Perryville.

She was born Dec. 1, 1905, at Longtown, the daughter of Joseph Franklin and Hattie P. Hoffman Clifton. On Feb. 14, 1937, she married Earl W. Ramsey, who survives of the home.

A daughter, Melba Cookston of Afton, also survives. A half-brother preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Young and Sons Chapel. The Rev. Edward Hankinson will officiate, and burial will be in the York Chapel Cemetery near Longtown.
