CAPE GIRARDEAU - Funeral services will be held Saturday for Gertrude H. Nanna, who died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1990, at 7 p.m. at the North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She was 87.
She was born Sept. 9, 1903, in Chester, Ill., the daughter of Harvey and Nellie Mangrum Brown. She married Ernest T. Nanna of August 1927. He died Sept. 10, 1974.
Survivors include two sons, A.R. Nanna of Sherwood, Ore., and Robert Nanna of Tucson; two daughters, Patsy Myers of Santa Monica, Calif., and Gene Gavada of Kansas City; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Dorothy, preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Baptist Church here. She moved to Kansas City from Cape Girardeau a short time ago.
The funeral is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. John Owen presiding.
Friends may call Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to time of the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park.
