JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Gertrude Dillow of Jonesboro will be held at 1 p.m. today at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Al Slayter will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dillow, 96, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1993, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Feb. 18, 1897, at Mill Creek, daughter of Elisha Andrew and Cora Mowery Hunter. She and Rollie Dillow were married Nov. 21, 1914. He died Oct. 27, 1971.
Dillow was a member of First Baptist Church and Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include a son, Harold Dillow of Jonesboro; two daughters, Janet Brumitt of Anna, Madge Bradley of Granite City; a sister, Hazel Gray of Anna; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
