GERTRUDE DICKSON

SIKESTON -- Gertrude Dickson, 85, of Paragould, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. She was born Aug. 26, 1912, in Saubougla, Miss., daughter of Thad Robert and Bessie Ann Nolan Tindle. She and Wayne P. Dickson were married Nov. 26, 1938, in Osceola, Ark. He died Dec. 19, 1958...

SIKESTON -- Gertrude Dickson, 85, of Paragould, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

She was born Aug. 26, 1912, in Saubougla, Miss., daughter of Thad Robert and Bessie Ann Nolan Tindle. She and Wayne P. Dickson were married Nov. 26, 1938, in Osceola, Ark. He died Dec. 19, 1958.

Formerly of Sikeston and Memphis, Tenn., she worked at Goldsmith's Department Store in Memphis many years. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Paragould.

Survivors include a sister, Catherine Carter of Paragould.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Dr. Charles DeVane will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after noon Saturday.
