PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Gertrude H. Bey, 86, of St. Louis, formerly of Perryville, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at her home.
Born Oct. 6, 1914, in Perryville, she was the daughter of John Emil and Marie Dorrenbach Bey.
She was a child-welfare worker with the St. Louis Division of Family Services for 20 years before retirement.
A member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in St. Louis, she had been a volunteer with the American Red Cross during World War II.
Survivors include one brother, Dr. S. Paul Bey of Perryville, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
