Germaine Carr

Germaine Elizabeth Carr, 81, of Willow Springs, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs.

She was born May 10, 1920, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Pinkney and May Limbaugh Long. She and Asier Herman Carr were married June 15, 1948.

Carr was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, John Carr of Jefferson City, Mo.; a brother, Carl Long of Cape Girardeau; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.

Friends may call at Willow Funeral Home in Willow Springs from 5-7 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Baker Cemetery in Marble Hill, Mo. Bryan McAlister will officiate.
