PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Geraldine M. "Gerry" Rellergert, 81, of Perryville died Sept. 7, 2015, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 15, 1934, in St. Louis, daughter of Emil and Toleta Christensen Niswonger. She married Raymond L. Rellergert on Nov. 24, 1956. He survives in Perryville...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Geraldine M. "Gerry" Rellergert, 81, of Perryville died Sept. 7, 2015, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 15, 1934, in St. Louis, daughter of Emil and Toleta Christensen Niswonger. She married Raymond L. Rellergert on Nov. 24, 1956. He survives in Perryville.

Gerry was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Michael (Chris) Rellergert and David (Belinda) Rellergert, both of Perryville; three daughters, Theresa (Kevin) Petzoldt and Julie (Mark) Wengert, both of Perryville, and Patty (Mitch) Peiffer of Salisbury, Missouri; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with a Catholic wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 6:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, with a rosary being recited at 8:30 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Entombment in Mary Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Perryville.

Memorials are preferred for St. Vincent de Paul Schools.

Young and Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Perryville provided the arrangements.
