LEOPOLD -- Geraldine Marie Huffman, 72, of Leopold died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of August Hugo and Emma Louise Griffin Boos. She married Leonard Huffman in August of 1946 in Cape Girardeau. He died Jan. 19, 1972...

LEOPOLD -- Geraldine Marie Huffman, 72, of Leopold died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of August Hugo and Emma Louise Griffin Boos. She married Leonard Huffman in August of 1946 in Cape Girardeau. He died Jan. 19, 1972.

She worked for Thorngate Manufacturing in Chaffee for more than 15 years, retiring in 1989. She also worked at International Shoe Co. for several years.

Survivors include two sons, Willard Huffman of Whitewater and Larry Huffman of Advance; a daughter, Jean Floyd of Leopold; two sisters, Virginia Eftink of Cape Girardeau and Rosanna Schallert of Effingham, Ill.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with Monsignor Richard Rolwing officiating. Internment will be at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetary.
