She was born Oct. 30, 1922, at Mound City, daughter of Benjamin Harve Calvin and Elizabeth Amanda McDaniel. VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Geraldine Koonce, 71, of Villa Ridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993, at her home.

She was born Oct. 30, 1922, at Mound City, daughter of Benjamin Harve Calvin and Elizabeth Amanda McDaniel.

She was a member of Villa Ridge Union Church, and Order of Eastern Star Caledonia Chapter 587 of Pulaski.

Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Koonce of Villa Ridge; a daughter, Brenda Conkling of Marquette Heights; three brothers, Wilbur Calvin of Cairo, Joel Calvin of Lakeland, Fla., Harve Calvin Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Rose Mary Wood of Marquette Heights; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.
