GERALD TAYLOR

SIKESTON -- Gerald "Wayne" Taylor, 46, of Sikeston died Saturday, July 22, 1995, in a traffic accident.

He was born June 25, 1949, at Portageville, son of Vesteen and Juanita Quick Taylor.

He and Margie "Leean" Knupp were married June 11, 1971, at Chester, Ill.

He was employed at Hudson Foods at Dexter.

Survivors include his parents; his wife; a daughter, Teea Renee Taylor of Perryville; five brothers, Rondal Taylor of Essex, Roger and Lynn Taylor of Sikeston, Rodney Taylor of South Fulton, Tenn., and Vesteen Taylor Jr. of the state of Mississippi; five sisters, Melba Hardin, Janet Robinson and Sandra Smith of Union City, Tenn., Frieda Stidman of the state of Mississippi and Debbie Sexton of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.

A daughter preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Kenneth Ledermann will officiate, with burial in the Portageville Cemetery.
