Gerald Louis Robinson Sr., 76, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 9, 1940, in Cape Girardeau to Elmer and Alma Siemers Robinson. He married Catherine "Molly" Duschell on July 28, 1972. She preceded him in death Jan. 16, 1996.
Gerald enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He was a truck driver for Missouri Dry Dock and Repair Co.
He is survived by three sons, Gerald (Carmen) Robinson Jr. of Sikeston, Missouri, and Randy and Rick Robinson, both of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Martin "Bud" Robinson; and two sisters, Doris (Robert) Snider and Carolyn White, all of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Brian, Caleb, Christy, Austin, Grace, Jordan and Kaylee Ann; a great-grandchild, Colton; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and an infant brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
