SIKESTON, Mo. — Gerald Kellett, 74, of Sikeston died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at his home.
He was born July 8, 1933, in Sikeston, son of Ernest and Rita Mainord Kellett. He married Barbara Campbell, who preceded him in death June 30, 2006.
Kellett was a U.S. Army veteran and member of American Legion and Eagles Aerie 3319.
Survivors include a son, David Kellett of Foley, Ala.; three daughters, Rachel Hadley of Scott City, Pam Allen of Sikeston, Leslie Johnson of Cantonment, Fla.; a brother, Larry Kellett of Sikeston; a sister, Janice Whitehead of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Argel and Don Kellett.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at Ponder Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis L. Lowe, pastor of Unity Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City. Full military honors will be conducted.
