Gerald Wesley Davis, 57, of Scott City died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born in Lafe, Ark., son of Gerald Edward and Alma Davis.

Davis was employed in the transportation industry, and was a member of Scott City Church of Christ.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; a daughter, Ashley Davis of the home; his mother of Oak Grove Heights, Ark.; a brother, Phillip Davis of Paragould, Ark.; and a sister, Joan Scott of Paragould.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The funeral was held July 1 at Phillips Funeral Home in Paragould. Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
